ABOUT THE PARTNERS

My first memories of a log cabin was as a young child, every summer vacation was spent in a log cabin, one week in Yellowstone National Park and a week at Como Springs in Morgan Utah. When I was real lucky, my friends and family would go to Bear Lake Valley Utah or Star Valley Wyoming. We stayed in log cabin homes, big and little old and new.

My most cherished moment was being with my Grandmother Harriette and just listening to the rain with a fire in the fireplace as she shared memories of life with Grandpa Smith. I remember then thinking "some day I will live in a log cabin.

After over 30 years as a Business Owner and Real Estate Investor in California it is time to come back to my roots and be a part of building my Dream Cabin. Buying the land, buying the materials, getting the permits is just the beginning! What an exciting adventure. Now it is time to be a part of a community "where I grew up".

	SUSAN HAYWARD purchased her first log cabin in September 2001. "I felt safe in my Bear Lake Log Cabin! I kept enjoying the awesome clean blue water of the lake, trees, and the beauty of the surrounding mountains." Susan is excited to bring her many skills and leadership abilities in Insurance and Real Estate to Bear Lake Cabin Kits. A business owner and community leader Susan looks forward to sharing her adventures with family and friends. 	Dan Fillion, born 1965 Evanston, IL. moved to Wyoming 1973 where his father Pete founded Authentic Homes Corp, maker of precut log home kits from 1974 - 1992. He since sold the company. Dan grew up in Wyoming and spent summers building log homes for his fathers company from age 9-17. Then Dan attended a technical college in western Nebraska to become an auto mechanic. Some years later he returned to his fathers company and worked as a Millwright, fabricating machinery and maintaining the sawmill equipment for Authentic Homes Corp. He served as an officer on the company's board of directors. After the company was sold Dan opened his own business, D Squared Industries, located in Laramie WY. He repaired autos, snowmobiles, motorcycles, trailers and all manner of equipment. Dan closed his business and left wyoming for Bear Lake after his divorce in 2005. He currently serves as water master for BLW POA and assists with the day to day maintenance - operations of the subdivision. Dan's experiences are varied, from the manufacturing and home building industry to the automotive world and onto corporate management. We feel his knowledge and experience will be of great benefit to our customers here at bear lake cabin kits. dan@bearlakecabinkits.com
